I'm sure many of you have wondered where in the world I have gone to, and why my blog has remained stagnant for the past couple weeks. I mean, why have a blog if you're never going to write on it? Haha.
Actually, if you read my last couple posts, you are very aware of my situation and what has pulled my attention away from maintaining While Sipping My Chai. There is a precious little boy named Landon who now receives much of my attention (along with his father who has been the most supportive husband a new mother could ask for). I have thoroughly loved having this new change in my life! Yes, there are moments when I can hardly keep my eyes open while my new little guy is nursing (the memory of having uninterrupted sleep is very distant), and there are times when the fussy hour(s) hits that I wonder if I'm up to handling my new role as a mom. However, those rough times are greatly overshadowed by the smiles and times of cuddling that I get from my little man, Landon. He has been such a wonderful baby, and Allen and I still can't believe that we've been blessed with this little angel.
I have yet to adjust to all of the baby items sitting around my house. There is a pacifier sitting on the coffee table, a Boppy laying on my bed, a burp cloth hanging over the arm of the couch, and a rubber ducky sitting on the edge of my bathtub. Life has changed. Changed for the good, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My heart is bursting with so much love for our little man, and I can't wait to watch him grow (but not too fast)!
More updates to follow (I'm sure you expected that). :-)

What a cutie!
There is NOTHING in the world like a first baby. Soak in every minute, and write down/document as much as you can! I'm sure he's already changing before your eyes!
Love the pictures!! He is so adorable and I can't wait to meet him!! (BTW Are you going to be around this weekend? I might be up in Woodstock and I would love to stop by!)
Yay, congratulations!! And welcome out into the world, sweet Landon! What a precious blessing! I am so excited for you, Mandi - my heart just overflows with praises for such a godly family who will train Landon up to adore and seek his Lord! I know that you are a great Mom, and it sounds like Landon's Dad is pretty incredible as well! Congratulations, again!
